The connection between our Christian faith and the secular world of ideas occurs in one of three primary modes:

  • Where Christian beliefs enhance secular ideas,

  • Where secular ideas enrich our understanding of the Christian faith, and, most challenging,

  • Where Christian and secular perspectives stand in tension, even in sharp conflict, with each other.

In the second of this four-part series, Dr. Bud Bence, Professor Emeritus at Indiana Wesleyan University, plumbs the richness of integrating faith in the learning environment.  Grounded in a lifetime of Christ-centered teaching and learning and filled with a distinctive passion for his content, absorb Dr. Bence's mind and heart thinking about this vital component of teaching in a culture often devoid of a Christian worldview.
